ABOARD USS ESSEX AT SEA

the 31st MEU embarked, participating in Special Operations Capable Exercise

capable of executing several diverse missions, from humanitarian assistance
and disaster relief efforts, to full-scale combat operation. The Essex ARG

helicopter for the days mission on Sept. 22. Essex is currently underway,
