Tim Mosher contacted us first by telephone and then by e-mail. He sent a third edition, (original edition) of the Buccaneer dated Mother’s Day Edition May 9, 1944.  Reading over this is like reading history during those trying days fifty-seven years ago. We would like to Thank Tim and say how appreciative the men of the USS Essex are for his contribution.
